Peter Rothbart is a lifelong athlete who has competed and has had success in many different sports. He was an all-conference football player and an all-state track athlete in high school. In college, Peter ended his football career due to injury and picked up BJJ as a new full-time sport.
As an athlete who enjoys a great workout, Peter is a problem solver and is someone who always enjoyed watching and learning about combat sports, BJJ was a perfect fit.
Since 2010 Peter has solely focused on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, learning as much as possible, competing, and instructing.
Peter also has extensive experience as an instructor. He has coached high school track & field and ran a sports camp for multiple years. Peter has taught kids and adults in Gi and No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu for the past 3 years.
Peter likes to keep his classes interesting and fun. He is always willing to go the extra mile for IGC students and strives to give them a personalized BJJ experience.
